W e always keep our customers’ in the loop because an informed homeowner, is a happy homeowner! We recently received a letter from ABC Supply notifying us of a general price increase that will be taking place this Spring. As mentioned in the letter, increase amounts will vary by manufacturer.
At Duane Mainardi Builders, we are committed to providing our customers with the most up-to-date pricing. Unfortunately, diesel for trucks and asphalt have not been affected as drastically as oil prices have over these harsh winter months. We believe that it’s a very important step in building trust with our customers to relay this information as quickly and as accurately as possible. We understand that a significant price increase will affect our customers purchase decision and we want to help you make the best decision the first time!
WHY THE INCREASE?
As noted in the attached document, oil prices dropped over the winter months, unfortunately, that is the only place we have seen any relief. Diesel for trucks and asphalt have no been affected as drastically. Chemicals and other items are also not seeing any relief. Due to the increased cost of raw materials, as well as the ever growing expense of worker’s compensation, Affordable Care Act Taxes, and overall inflation in rent, property taxes, etc., manufacturers have instituted price increases across the board.

- Vinyl Siding: 5%-7%
- Fiber Cement Products: 7%-9%
- ISO and Insulation Products: 5%-7%
- Single Ply Systems: 5%-7%
- Windows: 5%
May 1, 2015:
- Roofing Shingles: 5%-7%
- Roofing Accessories: 7%-9%
